Twitter Clients There are a range of tools that will allow you to send and receive Twitter messages with both mobile and desktop devices. This list may never be complete, but will offer a range of clients worth considering.
Twhirl http://www.twhirl.org/ A computer based client available for Windows and Mac; much easier to than the Twitter page, in my opinion
TweetDeck http://www.tweetdeck.com An easy to use Twitter client that runs under the Adobe AIR (that means it will run under Windows and MacOS) My favourite feature is that it allows you to group the people you follow, making it VERY easy to follow your favourite people, or a conversation among several.
Seesmic http://desktop.seesmic.com/ Another multi-column, multi-function client by the folks at Seesmic.
Nambu http://nambu.com This Mac only client has great functionality for filtering tweets, including the isolation of tweets with hyperlinks.
Twitbin http://www.twitbin.com This Twitter client is a Firefox add on that can be turned on/off inside the browser and has some simple settings to control updates and who you are following.
Twitterrific http://iconfactory.com/software/twitterrific This is a desktop client for mac users, it can also be used as an app. on the iPhone/iTouch. Video here.
Twitterfeed http://twitterfeed.com/ Use Twitter to automatically tweet your blog posts. Video tutorial here

TwitPic http://twitpic.com/ This client allows you to post pictures to share through Twitter. You can also easily post using your cell phone.
Twe2 http://www.twe2.com/ A tool to convert tweets to SMS messages that you can receive on your mobile phone. And there's no charge to receive messages!
Edmodo - http://www.edmodo.com/ is an educational microblogging tool and much more. Identica - http://identi.ca Open-Microblogging powered by http://laconi.ca + Plurk - http://plurk.com/ is a microblogging app used primarily ny educators with lots of threaded discusions on a timeline Utterli- http://utterli.com Text, audio and/or video microblogging on a cell phone platform like Twitter Phone Yammer - http://yammer.com/ is based on organizational email. It began as a tool for organizations and companies but education has taken an interest.
